  • The Cosmonauts
    An eclectic blend of Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Funk and Blues featuring the areas best musicians in these genres (bassist Jeff Volkman, guitarist/vocalist Kiko Freitas, keyboardist/vocalist Julio Jauregui, drummer/percussionist Jeff Busch). As always, Tor delivers the highest quality music and musicians, as well as sharing vocal duties with some of Seattle's great vocal talent. The Cosmonauts is his newest band and one of the most happenin' incarnations yet. Not to be missed!!!!


  • Mambo Cadillac
    Tor Dietrichson's Salsa/ Afro-Cuban Jazz Band has been delighting audiences at The Triple Door Musicquarium since April 2005 and has performed at Bumbershoot and elsewhere


  • Global Village
    Formed in 1988 after the release of his debut album of the same name, "Global Village" has performed hundreds of concerts in the area including most of the major festivals and played six times at Bumbershoot


  • (Both "Mambo Cadillac" and "Global Village" have been accepted in the 4Culture Touring Arts Roster and have been asked to headline the big kick-off concert for the Website/Catalog launch)

  • Troy D. Trixon
    Tor's new blues band has been performing at The Triple Door Musicquarium and features Tor as lead vocalist in Chicago, Texas and other Blues styles


  • The Pleasure Seekers
    Also called Dietrichson, Garrett and Benoit - This trio features original Roots Rock, Blues and other styles with all of the members taking turns singing as well


  • Nada Brahma
    This is a trio with Pandit Debi Prasad Chatterjee, Tor Dietrichson and saxophonist Neal Welch and we hope to have other artists join us in the future


  • The Duo of World Class Sitar Player Pandit Debi Prasad Chatterjee and Tor Dietrichson on Indian tabla drums have played concerts in the area and have produced several recordings

Tor Dietrichson can present any of these exciting musical ensembles, and can draw from the area's best musicians and producers. Tor is also a busy sideman on all percussion instruments as well as vocals. He is available to teach Afro Cuban and other percussion styles, including East Indian tabla drums.

Tor has a musical resume that includes recording duets with one of India's top cultural ambassadors -Ustad Zakir Hussain- a longtime personal friend. Two recordings of Tor's compositions have been produced by renowned violinist and former Mahavishnu Orchestra member, Steven Kindler. Both recordings feature many renowned artists including also flutist Paul Horn, guitarist Joaquin Lievano, (Santana percussionist) Karl Perazzo, vocalist Flora Purim, keyboardist Jovino Santos-Neto and numerous others. His first CD "Global Village" charted high nationally.
